Porto Romano is a "mom-and-pop" restaurant that serves Italian-Mediterranean cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. It is known for its friendly service, cosy ambience, wonderful food and good wine selection. Porto Romano has had some good reviews from major newspapers and magazines over the last year or so. The restaurant has some signature dishes such as the Braised Lamb Shank, Oxtail Roman-style, thin crust pizzas and the Tiramisu that lure customers back time and again. There are presently 2 outlets, the first in City Square Centre opened in June 2005 and the second in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (a residential suburb) in Nov 2006.
Porto Romano has an extensive menu that includes antipasti, soups, pizzas, pastas, seafood, meat and rice. However, vegetarians can also find refuge here. All of our meats are halal slaughtered and absolutely NO PORK is served.
